Chapter 5 Trespassed
- I almost forgot that I was with him. In his words, I could almost feel the weight of his mention of it. It was so serious that you would feel that you were obliged to do whatever pleased him. I just bowed, not knowing what to say to him. I was intimidated.
- I feel like I have done something wrong to him, and I don’t know how to apologize. I seem to have forgotten the distance between the two of us. I have to respect him because he is a guest of the Solidads. I have seen the lofty house I am staying in, and now that the car has stopped, I immediately opened the door to my seat at the same time as the door next to me collapsed. I was able to do it, although I struggled a bit, and he opened it widely for me. When I got down, I waited for him to leave in front of me so I could walk, but it didn’t happen.
- "Hey," he said, and as if on cue, I looked him in the eyes, a little bothered and worried.
- Now, I saw the wound on his lip again, and carrying the medicines in my hand, I approached him more carefully to investigate it. Obviously, it has not been given first aid.
- So as a thank you, "I'll cure that." I stared at his wound, and he just shifted in his position and shrugged. "... if, it's okay."
- His gaze fell into mine, and he nodded. I was moved a bit. At least, through this, I can show my gratitude to him.
- I went inside the house first and saw a few house helpers doing their work. They've returned from visiting their families. I first looked for Mother Celia, the head maid, here, but according to them, she was not there yet. So I put the medicines in the living room first and went to the powder room to get the medicine kit. And when I came back, I saw him sitting intently, waiting for me.
- I saw the two housemates muttering as they stared at the figure of this man occupying the entire living room. Maybe they were wondering why this man was here and why I was with him. I took out what I needed and was ready to face him. I dabbed at it little by little, taking care not to hurt him. I'll just clean it and put the medicine in it. I can feel his eyes tracing every part of my face as I continue. The intensity of his stare couldn't help but distract me. I wanted to concentrate well on the treatment, but just as I have said, whenever I met his eyes, I could do nothing but smile at him sweetly to hide the nervousness I was feeling.
- "Thank you very much." I smiled.
- He stared at me for God knows how long.
- "It's okay now." and I have withdrawn myself from him. It was also a sign when my conscience reminded me that it had to end there.
- "Cy!" My peaceful time stopped here in the shade of a tree on the beach when I heard Oli's voice again. He came over to me and hugged me, which surprised me. I was in so much pain when he pinched my arm, which is still swollen.
- "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Cy! I'm sorry! It's my fault!"
- He brushed his hair for a time, and his guilt was visible in his eyes. I slightly patted his head as he continued to hurt himself.
- "It's not your fault, Oli."
- I still sympathize with him. It’s one of the things I’ve realized since a series of storms came into my life. Some people stray from the path because of things that are happening or have happened in their lives.
- In my own view, what happens to your life is not the responsibility of anyone. I believe it all comes down to you, just like it did for me. If I had just tried to do my project, I would not have had to go to town, and it would have happened to me. I don't know if this thought is for everyone, but I can only be sure of one thing. Even if your path is wrong and you can't go back to correct it, you must first forgive yourself so that He can forgive you. Even if you can't change the mistakes you've made in the past, you can do something new to compensate. Most of all, you don't have to repeat it.
- "Did you know those who blocked you?" He asked hysterically. Now that he mentioned it, I remember that argument Sir Levi and I had earlier.
- "No, I'll just be careful next time." I said timidly.
