• “Do you know who I am?” I asked again, my stern gaze fixed on him. He squinted his eyes to stare at me closely, his forehead creasing in thought. He is obviously thinking about it deeply, wondering who I am. His face doesn’t even look as if he has a wild guess, he looked completely lost, giving me a look that say that there is no way in hell that he would know someone like me.
• I still stood outside the grand Kendall mansion, my heart racing with anger, livid anger. I can’t believe that I’m still left standing outside like a fucking nobody. When I pressed this doorbell, I was hoping to be recognized as the twin brother of the child they had stolen. I nearly heaved a sigh of relief when Austin Kendall opened the door himself.
