• After our dinner, I spent quality time cuddling with her and having a good time. She couldn’t stop talking about Miguel, she was so excited about her new friend that I felt the need to let her retain her smiles and excitement by urging her to keep hanging out with him if that would make her smile more often. She looks so beautiful when she smiles, hanging out with him seems to bring out the best in her, and that’s okay.
• As a matter of fact, I’m ashamed to admit that he makes her more happy in one day than I’ve done since we met. I kept asking her questions about him, coaxing her to tell me more about him. I listened to her just to find out everything he said to her. I felt relieved when she didn’t mention anything about their relationship as siblings. It’s either he doesn’t know yet that she is his long lost sister, or there is something else holding him back from telling her the truth about her real family.
