Chapter 10 First Meeting

• He stands a few feet away from me, his eyes still glued to mine. My heart keeps racing as I hold the newspaper clipping tightly in my hand.The words are still burning into my mind. The silence between us stretches, heavy with unspoken questions and the weight of revelation.
• “ It's not as simple as it looks, Aurora” His voice breaks the silence and I swallow. “There are things... things I haven't spoken of. Things that are difficult to explain.”
• “ I'm sure I'll understand if you explain” My voice is barely audible.
