Chapter 68

• I woke up the next morning to find myself alone in bed. I was completely naked—as I peeked under the blanket, I confirmed it. Karious was nowhere in the room. It didn’t seem like he was in the bathroom either; I couldn’t hear any sounds from there.
• I quickly stood up and headed straight for the shower. A small smile crept onto my lips as I noticed the red marks scattered across different parts of my body. I felt sore... but deeply satisfied. There was also a strange glow to me—I had just woken up, yet my skin and hair looked remarkably fresh and healthy.
