Lucian felt his throat tighten and his breath shook in fury. His men rushed in and got into a fight with Ramon’s men while he gathered himself for a while.
Suddenly, he snapped back to reality, pulled off his jacket, and rushed over to his woman who lay helplessly on the cold, dirty floor. He knelt beside her, covered her body with his suit and hurriedly unbuttoned his shirt. He pulled it off and covered the remaining body of hers that was exposed and raised her head gently.
“Vas,” he breathed shakily as he watched her bruised face and lips.
