Chapter 16 One Man Down

• “Emergency!!” Nathaniel shouted, running into the hospital he swore to burn down. An entourage of men dressed in matte black followed closely behind Nathaniel, all heavily armed. Kennedy lay almost lifeless in Nathaniel’s arms.
• The doctors and nurses, scared for their lives, rushed Nathaniel and collected Kennedy from his grip. They placed Kennedy on a stretcher and ran towards the emergency room. High beats of panic flooded the air. No one is safe because the war is far from over, and one thing is sure: if Kennedy dies, Victoria dies with him. If he perishes, he is burning everyone and everything to the ground.
• “Sir,” one of the men suddenly said, sharply swinging Nathaniel back into reality. “They’ve lost track. Bryan has lost track of Eleanor.”
