Chapter 12

• I slowly open my eyes and realize that I am being surrounded by arms, so I turn slowly and there I see Max peacefully asleep. At that moment, I remembered that yesterday, after talking almost all night, we fell asleep. When I think about it, I smile like a silly, lovestruck fool because it was the first night since we got married that we slept together. I see him open his eyes and when he meets my face, he smiles.
• "Good morning, beautiful," he pulls me close to his body and gives me a kiss that takes my breath away.
• "We woke up so affectionate," he laughs and caresses my face.
