• Maya waved the files past Kelvin’s face feeling a bit lost on why he handed this to her instead of the freedom like she had demanded. She had almost forgotten about Cameron’s betrayal until she saw the divorce papers right now. She wasn’t even divorced yet and she was already staying under another man’s roof.
• “This has nothing to do with the freedom that you promised me Mr Sinclair. I trusted your words for it for once in my life and you couldn’t even fulfill it!”
• Kelvin picked up a ballpoint pen from his desk and walked around the table to get to her. He outstretched the pen to her with a knowing look.
