• For the rest of the day, Maya didn’t see Kelvin which was beginning to make her feel restless and also confused. She had inquired about his whereabouts from his guards but they also seemed to be clueless just like her.
• She suddenly recalled the real reason for the chaos that went up today. That sneaky bitch named Kate. Kate escaped before anyone could notice anything and it pained her deeply to know that the one who attempted to kill her was still roaming out there. Maya picked up her phone from the bedside table where she had placed it earlier.
• It wasn’t so difficult for her to get the contact she was looking for since Kelvin was the only contact saved on her phone. She contemplated for a while before dialing it. What if whoever that was after him has finally gotten a chance? Right now she needs his protection more than ever.
