Chapter 13 The Sealed Room

• "This is either the bravest or the stupidest thing we've done yet," Kian whispered, crouched beside me in the dark corridor.
• "You didn't have to come," I whispered back.
• "And miss you two breaking into a sealed archive at midnight? Not a chance." He nudged my shoulder, some of his usual humor breaking through the tension. "Besides, somebody needs to keep watch while you two solve ancient family mysteries."
