Chapter 17 Two years later

• Dressed in a pair of black skin-tight ripped jeans, and a green tank top, the now eighteen-year-old Riviera makes her way to the very back of Myth class, away from the twenty-seven other students, and to where the lights weren't so bright. She places her bag on the floor and her head on the desk, where her long chestnut colour hair spills all over the desktop, and almost brushing the ground.
• Today her hair looks stringy and greasy as usual and needs a trim, but she is never one to be fussy about her appearance, her hair, or anything for that matter. Unlike everyone else or her mother, for example.
• Mary-Kate is always the one to go shopping, to keep up with the latest trends, wear makeup and also trying to break Riviera into the same things. She would often compare her daughter to other young ladies in the pack, but apologize whenever she sees it hurt Riviera's feelings.
