• The meeting had been long, stretching throughout the day as the advisors debated new territories to be conquered, rebellions and uprisings of various creatures, and brought to light everything involving the eastern wing of the Kingdom of Umbra. When we finally finished, the Prince was invited to a banquet—like a royal tradition.
• Serving the Prince at the end of the meeting was akin to a peace treaty steeped in sin and lust. Once we got up to the room, our outfits were already laid out on the bed. I waited patiently for the prince to finish his bath, resisting the heated idea of joining him under the pretext that it would be faster. He emerged from the bathroom, and I had to take a thousand deep breaths to ignore the adrenaline surging through me at the sight of him dressed that way.
