• The music is thumping loudly. It would usually give me a headache, but Sadie keeps handing me drinks. She is swaying beside me at the bar while Sophie and Scarlett grind on each other on the dance floor. Men approach them, but they wave them away with a flick of their hands. I thought they were coming here to find a man, but they seem to only care about each other's company.
