Their powerful bodies rippling with muscle as they prepared to defend their home. They could feel their senses sharpening as they shifted, their fur bristling in anticipation.
• The transformation was both brutal and awe-inspiring. Their bodies convulsed and writhed as their bones shifted and cracked, growing longer and stronger. Their muscles bulged and rippled, and their skin sprouted thick fur. Their faces contorted into snarling muzzles filled with razor-sharp teeth, and their eyes turned a fiery gold or glowing red.
