• Xander.." I started to say, but he cut me off and told me to come to his office for lunch, that he had some important calls to make. I groaned out of frustration because I knew that when he was like this, he became cold and distant. The car that was following us earlier was enough to push him over the edge. He was brooding by the time we got to work. I tried to talk to him to get him to calm down, but it was like he was in his own world, and I didn't know how to bring him back to reality.
