• The heaviness on his chest woke him after tormenting him throughout the second half of the night. Although he slept surprisingly well, the weight on his chest kept him vigilant even in his deep sleep.
• Allen gently carried the sleeping Mira off him and settled her into the couch. He took off his overcoat and covered her with it. Easily finding his glasses on the table in front of the couch, he slipped it on and threw a cold glance at the man sleeping in an uncomfortable looking position.
