• I tried Cassandra's line again for the umpteenth time and as usual, it went straight to voicemail. Unlike other days where I'll end the call without saying anything, I decided this wasn't other days. This was today and I was going to spill my mind.
• "Cassandra. I really don't know where I could have wronged you. But I want to let you know that I won't apologize. You don't deserve it. You turned my life upside down when you fled your wedding and I had to marry in your place. You've not reached out to anybody since then, and neither have you taken calls. I'd say that I hope that you're happy wherever you are but you don't deserve it". I ended the call and sighed.
