• It took everything I had in me not to go running after Echo as she stumbled her way across the deck and out onto the lawn, especially when she tumbled to the ground and puked everywhere. I normally would have chased her to the ends of the Earth in a situation like this, but Tala had warned me off from following them as soon as she sensed me moving closer.
