- Violet sat in silence at the dining table and Dylan came back out a few minutes later. Barbara was now asleep in bed as Dylan gave her some meds. Violet looked up to see Dylan, glaring angrily at him for what he did, but he was unfazed. In fact, he was glaring right back at her.
- “Are you happy?” he said. “Now you made mom worry about you,”
