• Three. Four. Five. I wasn't even certain about the number of days we'd been under this lockdown. It was my duty to protect the pack and ensure everyone fed and trained well but at this point, the best solution I could proffer is to lock my wolves up in the buildings, especially now that I'd realized that death wouldn't strike anyone that didn't take a step outside.
• All my years of being a werewolf and an Alpha of a pack, I had never experienced a wolf dying mysteriously, like a spirit kicking such in the ass. We weren't ghost not we were related to ghosts. What could be happening? If it was a curse from the moon goddess due to a crime we'd previously committed and weren't aware of at the moment, then it would be a new one. I had studied a lot of books before emerging as the Alpha, a well-deserved position. There wasn't a curse stated like this there.
