Chapter 124 Waking Up

• For long hours since Adrian had left the room, Liam had refused to leave his current position as he kept staring at Isabelle's pale face, waiting to detect any sign of reflex movement. Anyone who saw him now might mistake him for a human figurine placed for decoration. Even the doctor who had been going back and forth just to satisfy his unnecessary demands, was drained, both physically and mentally. He had finished another round of examination on the patient and was about to leave.
• "Her vitals are stable. It won't be long before she wakes up" Doctor Charles revealed to Liam who had a stoic expression on his face. He hesitated before adding, "I believe you also will get some rest for tomorrow morning. You need to remain fresh by the time she wakes up"
• "Alright, I'll do that when she wakes up"Liam replied with a deadpanned expression on his face, his response a huge contrast to the doctor's advice.
