• Liam sat lost in silence, his mind racing with thoughts of the unconscious Isabelle lying on the sick bed in front of him, she had been moved to a normal ward after the operation. Memories of her smiles and their good and special moments together flooded his brain. But now, his thoughts were consumed by the image of her fragile body lying lifelessly on the bed.
• He picked up his smartphone, staring expectantly at the screen with his brows furrowed in irritation. "What's taking him so long to deliver the feedback I asked for?" He muttered to himself, his fingers trying to dial a number but as luck would have it, a knock came on the door.
• "I'm sorry I didn't call you back immediately. I just felt you needed to hear this in person" Adrian rapidly explained as soon as he entered the room. "The incident has no iota of connection with Penelope's. it's different and was done by a different cause"
