Chapter 4 The Request
- Chapter 04
- Kenzo let out a slight scoff, dropped his jacket on the hanger, took off his shoes and walked away to the bathroom, leaving Helena hanging.
- Helena let out a sigh and dropped the book. She looked down at her gown, "I guess this won't do the job" She muttered, then yanked it off, leaving her in her panties and her upper body naked.
- 'I should get something more seductice' She thought as she walked over to the closet.
- "Hmm, let's see" She muttered as she began going through the clothes in an orderly manner.
- She yanked out a bra, holding it up like it was an auction. "This isn't mine?" She questioned with a confused look on.
- "What are you doing?" Kenzo suddenly asked from behind making her turn swiftly, completely forgetting she was naked, not like she cared. But maybe Kenzo did cause he went red immediately with his eyes widening slowly in shock.
- Helena raised her brows suspiciously as she approached him, still holding the bra up, but Kenzo was still embarrassed and in shock to notice whatever she was holding. All he could see were her breasts bouncing right in his face.
- "Whose is this? I know definitely well it's not mine" Helena questioned, folding her arms on her pointed breasts, poking it down.
- Kenzo snapped out of it and raised his gaze to her face, and then to the bra.
- "Should be yours from six years ago, and if it's not, I have no idea" He said, then walked away to the dressing table to dry his hair.
- Helena smiled and dropped the bra to the bed and she walked over to him, then suddenly placed her hands on his arms startling him as he froze for a minute.
- She didn't give him a chance to recover as she trailed her hands over his shoulder, then up to his neck, and down. She inserted her hand inside his robe, caressing his chest seductively.
- " I guess it's your girlfriend's.." She said, still smiling, then gently swirl the chair over and sat on his laps in an instant.
- "And I think I don't need to put on a bra to seduce you.. " She said, caressing his chest harder. "Right?" She asked, arching her left brow.
- Kenzo chuckled, making her raise her brows higher. "Get off me Helena" He said, his tone sharp and swift.
- She got off, straightened her posture, her brows raised in surprise at his reaction, or not, it was expected. She wasn't expecting him to just accept her back with open arms.
- Kenzo dropped the air dryer, grabbed his phone and keys from the bedside drawer, and while heading straight to the door, "I'll be sleeping in the other room, you can have this room." He said. Helena"s eyes popped in surprise and she pushed to him.
- "Why?" She questioned, grabbing his arm. He shoved her hands off, with his brows raised and is face twisting in annoyance.
- "What do you think you're doing?"
- "What do you.."
- "Why the fuvk are you back here, Helena? And on top of that.. " he stared down at her exposed chest.
- "What is this? Leaving and coming back after six years without no fucking word, and you.. " He scoffed in annoyance. "You're trying to seduce me??" He asked in genuine annoyance, his face twisting in anger.
- "Well..
- "Just go straight to the point Helena, the whole tryna get back shit, I ain't falling for it. Tell me why you're here, and do not sugarcoat it, Helena. You being here already is an hindrance, and I can't stand you doing some stupid shits like this too annoy me the more" Kenzo spat out in anger.
- Helena took a step backwards, straightened her posture and let out a sigh.
- "Kenzo..." She tried reaching out to him but she stepped backwards.
- "Okay, see.. I genuinely want to make things right again.." Kenzo turned and began to walk out.
- "Let's have a baby!"
- Kenzo stopped right on his tracks, frozen and completely taken aback.
- Helena covered the space between them, and stood right in front of him.
- Reaching out to his hands, "Let's have a baby please, Kenzo" She muttered.
- ****
- The morning light filtered through the blinds of Kenzo's office, casting a soft glow over the polished wood of his desk. The hum of the city outside was muffled, but within these walls, everything was still—silent, cold. His eyes were fixed on the documents in front of him, but his mind was elsewhere, tangled in the conversation he had with Helena last night.
- He couldn't shake the image of her—standing there, practically bare in front of him, her words a mix of desperation and calculated seduction. "Let's have a baby," she had said, her voice almost pleading, as though this was the key to unlocking the door between them.
- Kenzo ran a hand through his hair, exhaling sharply. The memory of her words echoed in his mind, gnawing at him, even as he tried to focus on the piles of work that awaited his attention. What was she really after? He couldn't make sense of it. Was this just another game? A manipulation to get him to open up, to feel something, anything for her again? Or was it genuine?
- He leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes for a moment, trying to distance himself from the thoughts swirling in his head. But the harder he tried to push them away, the clearer they became. The sound of her voice, the way she had stood there, as if daring him to deny her, still rang in his ears.
- Why now? Why after all these years?
- The door to his office creaked open, interrupting his thoughts. Kenzo opened his eyes, already annoyed at the intrusion, but when he saw his assistant, he quickly masked his frustration behind a tight smile.
- "Morning, sir," she said, holding a stack of papers in her hands. "The meeting with the board is in an hour. And the investors from Tokyo are arriving soon."
- Kenzo nodded, barely acknowledging her as she set the papers down on his desk. His mind was still half-occupied with Helena, her sudden return, and her unexpected plea.
- What the hell was I supposed to do with that?
- As his assistant began to speak again, Kenzo’s thoughts drifted back to the conversation with Helena—where it had ended, how it had made him feel.
- "Let's have a baby, please Kenzo" Helena muttered, her eyes almost pleading. She looked desperate, it was the second time he had ever seen her that way, the first time being the last time he saw her - when she had to leave due to her dad being sick.
- "What?" Kenzo's lips were finally able to move, and his mouth was finally able to produce a word.
- "A baby? Just one, please Kenzo" Helena said again. Desperate, she almost sounded desperate.
- What was going on? He was shocked, his emotions clouded. He couldn't think straight for a second. She wanted them to have a baby? Just like that. He barely knew her anymore. The Helena he dated and got married to, despite her features and certain characteristics not changing, she still didn't feel like her.
- She changed, a lot. And her feelings sure did too. Those were his thoughts six years ago, but her right now, the Helena standing and almost desperately begging before him, made him think, for a split moment that he had been wrong for the past six years.
- She didn't change. She just never loved him.
