• "Mother how have you been?" She asked after her mother calmed down a bit. They were now seated at the wooden bed.
• "How else would I be my daughter, your father seemed to have gotten worst as he no longer gets any coins from me".
• "He had sold off all my valuables and dowries, squandered them all on gamblings and drinks. I am just living with hope that the gods would make my daughter wipe my tears" she concluded and Galene's heart shattered as tears stream down her eyes.
