• The night passes quickly and I find myself smiling as I dance. Elaine agreeing to me having time off. It was almost too quick and easy like she was grateful I had asked for the time off. I wanted to ask about Marcello, but I know I need to forget it. Forget him and everything else.
• Alesandro is nice. He is, as Clyde said, nothing like those I usually go for. Typically, the guys I go for are older than me - a lot older. Alesandro is two years older than me. That was clearly where my mistake has been in the past. I sit down at the bar having a drink. Only tonight, I won't wait to get a man’s attention. I will have this drink and go home.
