Chapter 253 Overreacting (I)

• The process was faster than I expected. I stuck to Malik’s side as we exited the building because Waylen was still pissed. I didn’t tell him the doctor would have to stick his hand down there to remove the IUD. When he found out, Malik had to remove him from the premises so Dr. Klein could get to work. His possessiveness was on another level, and it was impossible to read his thoughts. He put up a block to stop me from prying. Malik also had a wall, but I was allowed inside anytime. I almost never did because he also respected my privacy.
• Waylen walked ahead of us, his steps loud and furious as he stomped to his car. His shoulders were tense, and his arms stiff.
• “You would think someone touched me,” I muttered to Malik as he led me to his car. The lot was empty except for their cars. I came with Waylen, but I was better off staying with Malik. “He’s overeacting.”
