Chapter 62 Just Come Over, Baby
- My heart hammers away, and my focus narrows down to a single point: the words glowing on my phone screen. I chew at my lower lip, my thumb hovering without really moving. I stop, take a breath in, then let it out slowly. I do the same thing again, trying to get my breathing back under control. There is no point trying to sort through the mess in my head until I have settled down a bit.
