• The music from the main party keeps pounding through the walls, but in here, everything's frozen. Gold teeth guy laughs, then that laugh turns into something uglier. "You're full of shit, man. Just empty threats."
• I look at Aiden. His face shows nothing. That dead expression and the way he talks so level still creeps me out. I want to believe he's joking, but something tells me he isn't. He doesn't have a weapon. At least none I can see. So what's he talking about?
