• The folks of IronValley were right to fear the child in my arms. He proved the Serpions existed. The promise Emperor Arion had made, that 'all' of the Serpions had been destroyed. That had been a lie.
• It took me a bit to convince the residents that this child wasn't a threat, but a victim of Arion's deceit and cruelty. Once things settled, Nora had allowed the boy to remain. Placing him in the room I was occupying, I had rejoined the bounty hunters at the firepit in the backyard.
