• That day was strangely lonely and different for both of them, Dominic stayed working from his room and Alessandra in the study. It was unbelievable what was happening to him. When had he ever run away from a woman? Distance himself? And much less avoid her? Good Lord, what the hell was happening to him? He was not the same man as weeks ago. The only way he could justify what was happening to him was due to his loyalty to his brother, because above all, despite being a womanizer or whatever he was, he respected that, the women of a friend or family member were OFF LIMITS. But Alessandra, damn, she turned his world upside down, he liked her a lot, he loved her, he liked her from the moment he saw her at that party at Bruno's house and he was sure that by then, she didn't know Vittorio yet, which meant that he had seen her first.
