Chapter 49 When mother strikes

• I spent most of the day with Ashley while Heather sulked off and joined some group of lads. I knew she had called my mother who was most likely was angry at me for abandon her dream daughter in law. She was probably trying to call and threaten me every minute but unfortunately for her, my phone was switched off. She had no power over me without her threats.
• Ashley and I played several games and toured the island. Several paparazzi took pictures of us. I didn’t even want to know what was going out there. Media houses were probably wondering which of the two women I wanted. I had been photographed with Heather at some point and then with Ashley. I didn’t mind the attention, having gone numb.
