Chapter 201 I Won't Ask for Custody
- The nanny next to us leaned in and spoke in a low voice, "Mrs. Hartwell, Yuna really does miss you. Lately, Ms. Tackman's been showering her with gifts, but she won't even touch them. Ms. Tackman even tried to take Yuna out for fun, but Yuna turned her down—she was set on coming here to see you instead."
- Yuna nodded earnestly, her little fists clenched. "Yeah, I don't like Queena anymore. She's acting way too friendly now, and I know she wants to be my new mommy. Grandma's always around her, too, but I don't want a new mommy. I just want you."
- Yuna's eyes welled up with tears as she wrapped her arms tightly around my waist, pressing her face into my clothes. Her voice trembled as she said, "Mommy, I don't want anyone else to be my mom. I only want you. Daddy promised me too—he said he wouldn't let anyone else take your place. He said the three of us will always be together ... that we're a real family."
