Chapter 6

• “I warned you to stay away from here. Why did you come to a place where Giselle will be coming? are you courting death? Zayn further asked as his eyes turned dark thinking about how she had defiled his orders.
• “I just wanted to tell you something important. I thought maybe, you wouldn't mind me coming over since we've been here together before. Moreover, I had a shoot at the area and I saw you standing here all by yourself, I thought maybe you were waiting to give me a surprise ”.
• Danica said with a gentle tone which makes her look pitiful.
• Zayn was running out of patience staring at her pretentious face.
• “Couldn't you have waited for me until another day? did you plan to ruin this moment? How dare you do this! ”
• Zayn yelled then he moved to grab hold of her neck, but his hands were left hanging in the mid-air when he heard the words that came out from her the next second.
• “I'm pregnant, Zayn!”
• The atmosphere of the environment suddenly went from zero to a thousand Celsius. Suddenly, Zayn felt sweat beard forming on his forehead as he tried to take in what Danica had just said.
• “I'm pregnant, I'm carrying our child”
• She moved close to him and wanted to hug him but she was stopped by his words.
• “Are you pulling some strings? You know what I'll do if I learn that you're faking all of these”.
• Glancing at the entrance to the private garden, Danica wanted to be sure that Giselle was close enough to hear what she was about to say before she spoke up.
• “How could you think that I'll think of deceiving you? The last time we met you were so drunk that you couldn't control yourself and we ended up spending the night in each other's arms. Moreover, I heard you knew about it, and that was the reason why you organize this dinner date. You wanted to tell Giselle about our baby, right? You don't have to be embarrassed, I'm sure Giselle will understand that we love each other so much and our baby is going to unite everyone ”.
• With her legs wobbling and her hands wiggling vigorously, Giselle took a few steps backward as she struggled to maintain her balance. Upon hearing what Danica just said to Zayn, she was watered down with sadness.
• Suddenly, a single drop of tears fell from the corners of her eyes and found its way down to her neck.
• Feeling annoyed as well as sad for herself. she couldn't help but let her imaginations run through the deeds of his days, “Oh so this the reason why you were acting all nice to me all of a sudden? you wanted to make me look like the bad guy here and pretend to everyone that you took care of me all along! I can't believe how low you two can stoop to get your hands on me. I'm going to go away from your lives now, and I'm never coming. Also, you won't get to know about my child.
• Just as she snapped out of her thoughts she heard Danica saying, “You didn't do anything wrong Zayn. You bought her all the luxuries she needed and even put up with her folly for three years. Moreover, I'm the one you love, and you're doing this for me and our baby. When she comes here just tell her the truth and also, make her sign the divorce papers and get rid of her as soon as possible ”.
• After saying this. she leaped up and hugged him.
• Giselle bites on her lips bitterly as she heard her say these words. what hurt her more was the fact that Zayn, who never allowed her to say one word in front of him was quiet and listened to everything she said with question or explanation.
• Sad seeing this fold right in front of her, She felt pathetic. although, she knew that Zayn wasn't aware of her presence she wanted him to fight for her.
• With one swift movement, she picked up the hem of the expensive nightgown that she was wearing. Without looking back, she ran out of the garden in tears.
• Seeing this, Danica coiled the corners of her thin lips into a dirty smirk as she watched Giselle running out of the private garden in tears.
• Do you think you're going to have him after learning about your pregnancy? Well, sorry to burst your bubbles but I'm still not done with him yet. so, how can you now have him? This is just the beginning, wait for the real deal, and don't blame me for being hard on you, after all,l,l, I warned you about it previously.
• She tightened her arms around Zayn's neck as she thought about this.
• Feeling suffocated by her, Zayn tried to free himself from her grip. after pulling for a few seconds the tight grip around his neck was finally let loose.
• He was so angry that he felt like giving her a slap across the face but then, he recalled that she was allegedly pregnant with his child.
• To be honest, Zayn had decided to start thinking about a child when he finally got back together with Giselle.
• how was he to know that all of his dreams were going to be shattered in one night?
• He thought he was done with Danica but now the child will force them back together.
• “Are you crazy? How could you grab me like that in a place like this? Are you feeding food to the Hawks ?”
• Zayn yelled as his face turned dark. The bright light that was shining brightly in his eyes earlier while he was awaiting Giselle was suddenly by a dark fog.
• “I'm not feeding food to the hawks. I'm just happy we're finally going to get married. I mean when everyone learns about this ”.
• “What the hell are you mumbling about? do you even realize what you're trying to do right now?
• Zayn was already irritated by her and wasn't going to allow her any chance to continue speaking.
• While listening to Zayn speak in such a harsh tone. she secretly prayed that Giselle didn't hear all that he had said at least that way her mission would accomplish.
• “I know this is so sudden, but we're going to be there for it. you promised me, remember?”
• “Danica, you should go home right now. I'll see you after dinner. You shouldn't be seen with me on a day like this”.
• He spoke gently with his voice devoid of emotion. He wanted to force her away as he constantly glanced at his wristwatch.
• She'll be here soon. I can't let her see this! , he thought to himself.
• While the atmosphere in the environment continuously rise, Danica kept staring at Zayn with admiration as she nodded her head understandingly.
• “I understand, Zayn. I'll leave first. You should carry on and ill wait for you at home then”.
• After saying that, she clung to the edge of her long evening gown with a sexy backside and walked away from his gaze.
• She had just taken a few steps away from him when she heard him call out to her.
• With her lips twitched into a sneaky smile. she thought I knew it! you can't afford to let me go now.
• with a slow and steady movement, she turned around to glance at Zayn. The sneaky expression on her face is now replaced with a sad expression; She looked as if she was going to lose it if nothing is done–color was drained from her face and she constantly wiped her eyes with one of her hands.
• Looking pathetic, she wanted to ask questions but Zayn beat her to it.
• “When did you learn about this?
• “Huh?” Danica was startled by this and she couldn't come up with the right answer in time but she managed to scale up.
• “mmm, I mean just a couple of hours ago. I had an accident during my shoot so that was why I was taken to the hospital and the doctor's reports proved it ”
• Danica replied meticulously.“Here, I have the doctor reports With me, have a look at it”
• Immediately she finished saying these words, she dipped her hand into her handbag and brought out a sheet of paper that looks like a medical report, and handed it over to him.
• Zayn glanced at it for a few minutes and looked up at her. Then, he said, “You can leave now”.
• She hurriedly stomped out of the private garden. it was only when she got to the entrance that she calmed down and heaved a big sigh of relief.
• That was a close call! I would have been caught up with you if I hadn't made arrangements beforehand.
• She dipped her into her purse and brought out her phone.
• “Have you seen the target? don't let her out of your sight. Make sure she doesn't get to escape at all at all cost ”.
• She instructed as soon as the call was connected.
• Now, let's see how you're going to react if you learn about what I'm going to do with your dear Giselle. it's goodbye Zayn from Giselle!!

• Zayn looked pale after reading through the report letter; he was saddened by the sudden of the baby he was expecting with Danica.
• how could this happen, now that he wanted to tell Giselle that he has fallen for her? he wanted to build a beautiful home with Giselle, and now the mistake of the past is catching up with him.
• Giselle must be heartbroken if she was to find that he had finally gotten Danica pregnant despite being married to her instead. She was already too frail from being dumped like trash in the past. how will she handle things like this now?
• Just as he was thinking about this with the pregnancy reports in his hands his assistant Gael arrived, his gaze was covered with a dark fog and the veins on his forehead popped out.
• “President Meyer, here are the details...”
• upon seeing the dark cloud that covered his usual cold face, Gael was caught off guard and his words were left hanging in the air
• He didn't dare to say any more words as he hung his head in the air staring directly onto the floor.
• “Have you checked on Giselle? how close is she?” He asked without raising his brows.
• “I'll go back and check on her first”
• Gael left immediately.
• Zayn stared after his departing silhouettes and felt a gush of pain over his heart.
• Only if he had another chance to make things better, then he might be worthy of a virtuous woman like Giselle.
• Drenched in her tears mixed with sweat, Giselle kept running along the way after coming out of the hotel.
• The chauffeur that had picked her up was nowhere to be seen. He must have left after dropping her off at the hotel earlier, but there was something off about how he was acting; he seems to be watching her every move while they were on their way to the private garden, but she thought she was thinking too much about it but his sudden disappearance says a lot about how she felt about him.
• After trying severally to get a cab and none was forthcoming, she decided to walk.
• Running along the way with her long gown trailing behind her. Giselle was as red as a beetroot from crying.
• She couldn't believe those two would do this to her. She had wanted to leave all on her own, She didn't expect that those two would make her look like a fool in front of the whole world after everything she's been through because of them.
• You guys didn't have to rub it on me. You should behave robbed your infidelity right in my face. I was going to go away from your lives and give chance for your love to see the light of the day, you shouldn't have done this to force me out of your lives, Zayn. I'm going away from your lives forever, you won't get to see me or my many ever again but just remember one thing I'm not going to let you off the hook in the future; I'll make you two pay for your sins against me!
• With these thoughts in mind, her determination was affirmed as she tried to stop her tears from falling off.
• I won't cry. those two don't deserve my tears, and I won't let them go to waste because of them. They'll pay for every pain I'm feeling right now.
• No matter how hard she tried to stop herself to stop her heart from feeling bad about what she heard the saying, she still couldn't bring herself to overlook the pain that well up like a lump in her heart.
• Not only that, Grandma and grandpa Medina might not be able to overcome this if they get wind of it. Danica has always been a pretentious witch in front of the whole world. To the whole world, she was nothing but a hardworking angel; who is trying to make a name for herself without anyone's support, whereas she was the painted bad guy who owes everything she as to the family inheritance.
• Back then, Danica had used the pity card on the public and tried to accuse her.
• With all that has happened in the last couple of hours, she felt pathetic knowing that she has not done anything to save her marriage from the clutches of a woman like Danica–This is because she had initially thought that Danica loved Zayn as much or even more than she could ever love him but it's all turned out to be a big joke when she heard Danica and her friends talking. She tried telling Zayn about but each time she has pushed aside for trying to cause friction in their relationship.
• Danica had exhausted all the schemes she had up her sleeves to ruin the marriage of her sister, Giselle, but Giselle on the other hand tried to his her bad deed from everyone; she thought that everyone would be disappointed if they were to know about this.
• aunt Samantha has been so good to me– she even raised me all these years. how can I bring myself to tell her what Danica did? She might die of pain, I can't do this to her.
• she nodded her head exasperatedly. Just as she was lost in thought, her mind was suddenly brought out of trance when she heard a car pulling to a stop beside her.
• As soon as the car stopped, two men – who had black masks drained over their head down to their face jumped out of the vehicle and tries to push her into the van; but she was quick enough.
• She ran toward the head bridge while the men raced after her angrily. Their movements were like those of a group of people whose lives depended on a mission like that one.
• It seemed like a do-or-die affair for them seeing how hard they ran after her.
