- Marian sat in the passenger seat of the car, while Dennis took the wheel. Leaving the hotel behind, Marian promptly dialed Benedict's number. They had made arrangements the previous night to meet, and for security reasons, Marian suggested meeting at Benedict's house.
- "Hello, Mr. Benedict, I'm on my way. Should I come to your house now?" Marian asked.
