• Elena has refused to come out of her quarters since we returned from the hospital for her check up. The sadness on her face was palpable, she didn't talk to me throughout the whole drive home. The conversation we had was when I asked her if she was set for the appointment this morning and all I got in response was a silent nod.
• My touch felt like torn on her flesh, it kills me to know that I couldn't be a source of comfort to her even at this delicate period. She shut everyone out. It's been a few hours since we returned from the hospital, the sun was already toning down towards the eastern horizon.
