- Mafel was taken a back by the simple question. This is her guilt! If she did not run her mouth back then... then things might not had gone that way.
- She was trying to find time to say her sorry but a journey with a boy she only had met came in picture. Totally lead her to forget Bill's 'two years' and focused in trying to change the old lady's mind.
