• I kept my composure as I approached Jason and Lucia by the roses, my heart thundering against my ribs. The questions I'd rehearsed a thousand times burned on my tongue. As Maya from the Northern packs, I had the perfect excuse to interview the happy couple about their love story. It wasn’t long until they were done and returned to their seats. For some reasons I didn’t know, Lucia asked me to join them.
• "Thank you for letting me join your table, do you mind if I ask you both some questions?," I said, my accent carefully maintained. "Our pack's newsletter loves featuring stories of true love and... loyalty." The last word tasted bitter in my mouth but I had to act as though everything was good.
