• That evening, after a heated argument with Veronicaand Sean, Deasy decided to head home right away. Along the way, she grumbled to herself. She was really irritated, once again becoming the subject of mockery by her two friends.
• Deasy thought to herself, it's so easy for her to be called longing for Lucas Orion. She admitted that for the past few days, she had indeed been searching, but, please underline, not because of missing him. She was just annoyed that the guy hadn't kept his promises.
• From the start, Lucas had insisted on getting married. Then he offered, asking for permission to take care of and provide for all of Deasy's needs during her pregnancy with his child.
