• Amy's POV
• I hated these uncomfortable silences. Particularly when I was having one with Liam in this fancy restaurant where classic music was being quietly performed in the background and couples laughing across candlelit tables nearby. We'd been waiting for almost an hour, and the client Liam had said we were waiting to meet hadn't appeared.
• I checked the time on my phone screen for the hundredth time that evening. "This is ridiculous. We've been waiting here for an hour now. Are you sure this meeting was supposed to be held?" I glared at him.
