• Winter was lying on the bed, bored to death, as Zane was at school. However, she wasn't well enough to endure seven-hours of torture of school yet, so she was watching Netflix since morning in Ellie's room after she went to work.
• When Winter got bored with Netflix, she chatted with Kalen for a long while before she came back to her room and decided to think about her feelings for Zane. But the more she thought about it, the more confused she got. She even started to get confused about his feelings. He said that he liked her but the word 'love' slipped his tongue pretty often. Therefore, with no other ray in sight, she sought help from her now second-savior Mr. Google.
• She googled about the differences between like and love. According to the website, the symptoms of Zane clearly fell in the 'love' category because he often talked about the future with her and accepted all of her flaws without liking anything in particular about her, rather he liked everything about her. Even so, she would dare not assume anything about his feelings.
