- "God, I need help," Zane breathed out, sensing a splitting migraine in his head.
- "Why do you need God to help you? I will help you. Tell me what's wrong," Winter slurred, giggling.
- Zane ran a hand through his hair. He felt like he aged forty years within the last fourteen minutes. "You are what's wrong. Now let go of that damn tree, would you?"
