- The scent of old parchment and aged leather filled my lungs as I ran my fingers over the spines of the books lining the shelves. The pack’s library was vast, a relic of knowledge lost to many, but today, it felt smaller than ever. The weight of my thoughts made the space suffocating, despite Susan’s efforts to cheer me up.
- “Come on, Evana,” Susan said gently, setting a thick book in front of me. “Books have answers. Maybe you’ll find what you’re looking for.”
