Chapter 118 Clutches

• With nothing much to do, Mia kept one eye on the clock, trying to make sure she wasn’t late in picking up Sam’s lunch and bringing it to him. She could still feel his touch on her skin and wished she had something to do to take her mind off of him, but other than browsing the Internet and counting the seconds down to picking up his lunch, she had nothing to keep thoughts of what he’d done to her body off of her mind.
• A knock at her door drew her attention. Beau didn’t wait for her to answer before he stuck his head in. “Hi. How are you?”
• Mia’s face lit up. She loved seeing him, even if she still had his brother’s scent on her body. She remembered what had happened the night before in the hot tub, how she’d wanted him to take her, and he’d refused, but she didn’t feel embarrassed by it. She understood that Beau was a gentleman and just wanted what was best for her. The same could not be said for his brother, but that was also okay with her… in an odd way she couldn’t quite explain.
