• Allison's POV
• I've never seen Xander so angry. There's rage in his eyes, but his hands are gentle as he comforts me. Afterwards, he wants me to return to his mansion while he goes to confront Tamara, but I can't let him go alone. So I insist on coming along, and I'm surprised when he listens. I would have thought he would make me stay back.
• Tamara is at his mother's mansion, holding court with some important members of the pack. Clearly, she's no longer hiding the fact that she wants to take his place as Alpha. When she looks up and sees me beside Xander, her expression darkens.
