Chapter 2 A Kiss In The Alley
- Rain’s POV.
- With tears in my eyes, I find myself standing before Willowcreek. The town’s biggest pub.
- I don’t know how I ended up here because I was moving on autopilot.
- As my eyes take in the neon lights gleaming before the pub, I know I need to be there and drink away my sorrows.
- If I have to burn my last card here I’ll. With that, I begin to move to the pub. I present my fake ID and head inside to the bar.
- The moment I take a seat, I order a very harsh drink that’ll make the burn I feel in my heart go away.
- How could Killan be so cruel to me? I ponder with bitterness while I gulp down the first shot the bartender served me.
- My heart squeezes as my mind replays the image of Killan’s head between the legs Nadia sucking her off.
- A stupid, bitter laugh vibrates from my lips and I feel the bartender looking at me.
- “Hey, are you good?”
- I stare at him lazily while drinking the fifth shot he has served me.
- “Haha…” I laugh humorlessly as my lazy gaze take him in. “I wish I could say…that...” Stuttering, I pause a little and belch.
- I just want the pain I feel to go away. I want to switch it off if that’s possible.
- The bartender watches me intently as if he’s willing to listen.
- “Look, I don’t feel okay. At all. I just feel like burning down the whole town right now. I wanna…” I belch again.
- Time runs by fast and before I know it the DJ turns on the music and people gather around the dancefloor, romping each other.
- “Why would you want to do that?” Asks the bartender when he returns from serving someone.
- “It…sucks you know?” I grumble, my vision going blurry. The alcohol effects and my tears make it quite difficult to see.
- But I struggle to watch the young man while I tell him some bullshit things I feel right now.
- “When someone you love says you’re just a specimen…”
- “A specimen?” I hear the distinct voice of the bartender. I nod at his words. He says he understands while I order more drinks.
- All I feel inside me right now is the need to prove Killan wrong. He can’t be right about me.
- “That must have hurt…” The guy says but I’m already standing wobbly on my feet as I hold my glass of Bourbon.
- “It did…it fucking did.” I slur, swinging my body to move to the dancefloor when my body crashes into someone’s body.
- “Gosh!” I slur, laughing as I watch the mess I l've made. “Eww, I’ve soiled the shirt, hmm…” I say, laughing at nothing.
- My hand moves up and trails the mess I’ve made on the person’s shirt. He freezes when my fingers trail his soiled shirt.
- The moment I touch his body in a feather light way, I sense the swirl of something strange through me. The stranger’s torso is sharp and trim.
- The urge to slide my hand through his torso up to his chest fills me. My eyes are blear when I look up at him, but from the sharp lines of his chiseled jaw, I know he must be one of those models that have lumberjack body.
- “Excuse. Please, get the lady a drink of water.” The strange man says when he notices me staggering again, taking my full glass of drink from me.
- “Psst! Give that back! I’m not done drinking!” I hiss in a groggy way, staggering in tow with him.
- “No, I’m not giving it back to you.” He hisses but I hit my hand into him, wanting to grab my drink back.
- How dare he? I think in my fogged mind. The bartender quickly does what the stranger says and brings a bottle of water for me.
- I grumble while I snatch it away from the stranger and gulp.
- “Next time, you know the right amount you should drink.” His words sound more like a warning than an advice.
- Pissed at that, I veer around, only for me to stumble and fall into his arms.
- The man grips me quickly, steadying me on my feet. That’s when I saw his face. With a sharp facial outline, a pointy nose, and almost silver eyes, he’s hands-down the most handsome man I’ve ever seen.
- His brown hair is curled neatly behind him and he has this otherworldly aura rippling from him as he holds me and looks into my eyes.
- “You might want to be extra cautious too, lady.”
- Now that he speaks so close to my face, I sense the effects his deep baritone voice is having on my body.
- Eyes still a bit bleary, I stand shakily on my feet, straightening the crease on my shirt.
- “Thanks but don’t order me on what to do and what not to do…” I rasp, sitting back in my seat.
- “You saw it as that. But I don’t. Was just trying to help you.” He intones.
- Despite myself, I let out. “Yeah, but save it for your kids, thanks.”
- “Really? That’s it?” He states with shock and when I look into his face now, watching as his lips curl into an unbelievable smirk I wish he would put those lips on me.
- For the first time in my life, I find myself desiring something I’ve never desired before.
- A man’s touch.
- Why do I feel it all of a sudden? I wonder, locking eyes with him.
- The man stares at me with devouring eyes, like he wants to eat me out just as much as I want to eat him out too.
- The hairs on my body stand on end as I track my eyes down to his customized two-piece suit.
- Hell, he looks rich and smells like one too. What is this about this hot stranger that makes me want to do things I’ve never dreamed of?
- To think I’ve never felt this way with Killan.
- Killan? Gross! I speak inwardly. Right now, even thinking about Killan’s name much less is face or what he did to me makes me feel like vomiting.
- “Yes…that’s it.” I stutter as I feel myself spinning under his devouring eyes.
- He oozes a strange kind of power. Oakdale is a small town where people usually know each other. I know a few familiar faces given my father’s status as one of the town's mayors but I’ve never seen this sinfully handsome stranger before.
- Maybe he’s not from this town. The fact that every other thing around me--- the music, the din of conversation, fades intensifies the hunger I feel under his gaze.
- “I don’t appreciate it when strangers try to butt in my affairs,” I add, uncapping the bottle of water and taking another sip.
- “I see. Very well then. Sooth yourself.” He drags his eyes around me and…his silver eyes change a little to amber but it vanishes as quickly as it comes before he walks away.
- How is it possible for someone’s eyes to change like that?
- Dammit! Maybe I’m seeing double, I rub my temple while sighing. I owe it to this drink.
- Watching the stranger walk away with rigid shoulders makes me realize he's pissed. I guess I was rude. I should apologize, I tell myself and surge on my feet but the man’s already out of sight.
- “Where did he go?” I say under my breath, determined to find him and apologize and…
- ‘Kiss him…’ the voice in my head suggests.
- I suddenly find the urge to kiss him and have him explore my body so appealing that I rush through the exit and saunter into the dimly lit alleyway.
- That’s when I see him hastening down the cobblestone ground of the alleyway.
- “Hey! Wait…” I hoot as much as my croaky voice can allow me.
- The man continues moving, his strides fast and hurried, despite hearing me. The blaring of car horns accompanies me as I half run and half walk towards him and clasp his wrist.
- “Hey!” I murmur when I touch him but he quickly presses me into the wall.
- “What do you think you’re doing? You shouldn’t be here!” He roars into my face and the whoosh of his harsh breath on my face turns me on so bad.
- I feel my nipples turning into pebbles, my cunt moistening. I swallow as he sandwiches me between his body and the building’s cold wall that’s pressing into my back.
- “What if I choose to be here?” I say instead of muttering my apology.
- The moistness l feel between my legs increases and I find him sniffing the air as his beautiful silver eyes bore into my green ones.
- “You’ll end up regretting it! You’re drunk!” He roars so lowly into my face, his mouth a fraction of an inch away from mine.
- “Uh-uh. You got it wrong. I’m not drunk and I chose to be here…” I mutter but he doesn’t let me finish as he spits out.
- “Why?”
- There’s this sexy grit to his jaw like he’s trying to keep himself at bay. But the luscious way he’s looking at my lips tells me he feels what I feel too.
- With my nipples hard and my mouth watering for a taste of him, I brush my upper body into his chest. A hiss spills from his mouth.
- “Because I want to do this…” I whisper into the hot air between us, standing on my tiptoes, I press my lips against his luscious ones, kissing him.
- “Fuck, you asked for this, lady!” He lets out when he breaks away a bit, ogling into my eyes.
- The man growls low in his throat and before I know it, his big palms cup the sides of my face as he presses his mouth against mine again.
- Oh, my God. I’m kissing a stranger in an alleyway? The thoughts flash through my mind rapidly and before I know it, he whirls me around and presses my chest against the wall, hitching my poodle skirt up my waist and slamming into me.
- TBC.
