Chapter 26 Unexpected Confession

• We reached the mall next to our office. I needed to collect the cake I ordered for today, but as we arrived, Alexander told me not to go to the shop as the cake owner will bring the cake to our car. I guess big people have their unique way of handling things. I was quietly waiting for the cake to get delivered in the car when I saw the same old man to whom I had bought Mac Donald’s food and the warm jacket.
• I felt overwhelmed when I saw him wearing the same jacket I had gifted. Without thinking, I excused Alexander for a few minutes.
• “Will you please wait here? I need some important thing to do.”
