Chapter 6 The Make Out

  • JASON’S and EVELYN’s POV
  • JASON Beta requested to join me but I refused. If he was to leave with me, who would keep an eye on the Park.
  • “Stay here for me, Johnson,” I said as I patted him on the shoulder.
  • “Sure,”
  • I entered my Acura ZDX 2025 version as I zoomed out of the Park.
  • This is not a goodbye.
  • I got to Doral, which is located on the outskirts of Miami. I contacted Alex, a very good friend of mine.
  • “Hey, buddy. It’s been years.” Alex greeted me.
  • “And you never bothered contacting me,”
  • “Well, we both have phones. You didn’t contact me either,”
  • I don’t know if I was being intrusive but I could swear I felt him shrugged.
  • “I’m in Doral,” I announced “You ain’t kidding, are you?”
  • “I will share with you my location now.” I said instead of bantering words with him.
  • I hung up and chatted with him on his IG handle with my location. In no time he sent me a location to meet him at a hotel.
  • I drove straight to the location with the help of the G’ location map, of course.
  • I got to the hotel in no time as I called Àĺèx to inform him of my arrival.
  • “Long time no see, Alpha Jason. You are not looking bad,” he complimented as a wry smirk hooked his lip.
  • “Prodigal son,” and his expression turned gloomy immediately.
  • I laughed out immediately.
  • “It’s not funny, Jason,”
  • Alex is also an Alpha who ran away from his Park when he was asked to marry a lady called Juliet.
  • It seems he knew her before the moon goddess mated them to be one. He had rejected her in the presence of everyone present.
  • Same thing with Juliet, she also rejected him.
  • “How have you been?” I asked him to soften his frowned face “Isn’t it obvious?” He asked with his eyes bright. “I am obviously fine, Jason. How are you?”
  • “I’m good.”
  • “You should be, of course. I mean being the Alpha also comes with plenty of goodies.”
  • ‘Goodie’ is another name for free ladies and free sex.
  • “Well, unlike you. I’m a responsible Alpha,”
  • “And you think I’m not?” Alex asked with his eyes half closed as he puffed on the cigarette.
  • “You know the answer yourself,” I answered under my breath.
  • If there is one thing I know about Alex is that he is a very ruthless being. Very…ruthless.
  • He walked inside the hotel as I tagged along.
  • Immediately we entered the hotel, I noticed girls fanning over Alex. This is his lifestyle, I’m not surprised EVELYN I don't know what has been happening in my life these past few days, it’s as if a part of memory has been tampered with.
  • “My name is Evelyn Silverman and I’m twenty two,” I keep on repeating these words as I was scared to forget my name.
  • I know I’m missing out on some details of my life but, I do not know if they are important or not.
  • I was walking down the street when I saw a hair salon. I touched my soft, silky hair as I had an idea in mind.
  • If I’m starting a new life, I might as well have some new personalities.
  • I walked faster so I could get to the Salon, “hello, welcome here.” A lady whom I presumed to be an accountant of the salon greeted me.
  • “Hello,” I greeted with a soft voice.
  • She led me to the Salon hall as I spoke to one of the hair stylists on what I want.
  • I sat down and the lady started her work immediately. Four hours after she was done, I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked different and… beautiful.
  • This is the first time in my life when I would agree that I was beautiful.
  • The lady who had greeted me on my way in came with an Electronic machine and asked me to E- transfer her money.
  • ‘Shit!’ Why had I not remembered that I would have to pay for their services I bet the cashier could sense something wrong as she asked me to follow her to the front desk.
  • “You do not have money and you dare come to Alonzo’s hair salon?” She asked with fury.
  • Was I in trouble?
  • “I’m so sorry I forgot my purse in the house and——”
  • “Shut it, will you!”
  • She made a few call and I was asked to hold on, in no time a man in his early thirties walked, he looked calm but his aura wasn’t “Sir,” the cashier greeted him as she bowed her head.
  • This is their boss.
  • The man sized me up as he had a wicked smirk on his face. “You don’t have money to pay?” He asked me with a malicious tone.
  • “I’m sorry. I promise to work and pay, I will pay.” I tried to assure the man.
  • “What job do you do?”
  • It was then realization dawned on me again. I don’t have a Job. The man noticed that I was sourcing for words to say.
  • “Don’t even lie to me,” he said as if he knew I was searching for what to say to him.
  • “I don’t have a job…sir.”
  • He laughed dryly as if mocking me.
  • “You will work in my hotel, and I’m taking you there now.”
  • Without waiting for me to say another word he turned his back as he went outside.
  • I stood there trying to calculate what just happened,
  • “You better go. You are lucky that he didn’t strangle you,” the cashier said.
  • Oh.
  • I ran quickly to meet the stranger who had somehow turned to my boss.
  • “Be careful, girl. I’m not a calm person.” He warned with his icy voice.
  • “Sorry. I’m sorry.” I apologized quickly so as not to get fired before starting the job.
  • “What’s your name?” He asked.
  • “I’m —-”
  • “Red.” He said quickly.
  • “Huh?”
  • “I will call you red. Let’s forget about your name.”
  • He drove fast to the hotel as he handed me over to the manager of the hotel and walked down to meet some of his friends.
  • I trailed him with my eyes till he sat down, the man he met looked familiar but, I cannot tell where I have seen him from.
  • The friend was about to look at my face when I turned to follow the manager to the cabin.
  • I registered my name in their worker’s book as I was given a uniform. The one given to me fit me very well as if it was sewed for me.
  • “Room 101, go check it and make sure it is clean, the client will be there soon.”
  • The front desker said to me as she handed me a key with the number written stylishly on it.
  • It was difficult locating the room , this hotel was big. Very big.
  • I finally located the room and opened it. The room was neat, neat enough for one to lay inside comfortably.
  • The bed was well arranged and the room smelled good too. I went down to the front desk to inform them on how neat the room looked.
  • “There, that is where you’d be working,” the manager said pointing towards the pool part.
  • “What would be my job, there?” I asked, feeling nauseous as I saw the way the boys were all over the girls at the poolside.
  • “You will know when you get there. Now, run along.”
  • I walked down to the pool ring as I stood there looking lost, I turned sideways as I saw my boss, smoking cigarettes and his friend, the one who looked familiar was very handsome.
  • I stood there lost in thoughts when one of the guys came to grope me from behind.
  • “Argh!” I exclaimed softly as I hadn’t expected anyone to pull such a dirty game with me.
  • “Yeah, girl. That’s how you do it.” The pervert looked excited as his eyes shone with anticipation.
  • “What is wrong with you?” I asked, feeling a bit angry.
  • Before the perverted man could touch me again, my boss showed up,
  • “Hey,” he said to announce his presence “Boos Alex,” the guy greeted with fear in his eyes.
  • Alex? So that’s his name.
  • “Off you go,” he ordered the perverted man.
  • “Yes. Yes,” he responded as he scurried away quickly.
  • “You are to dance, red. Dance.” He said.
  • “Uh, I don’t know how to.” I told him.
  • “You want me to lose money? I don’t joke with my business, red.”
  • Red.
  • Why do I like the sound of that? I subconsciously touched my hair as I smiled a bit. My hair color is red. Scarlet red.
  • Alex’s eyes dimmed with a dark glint under. I blinked again to meet his icy gaze.
  • “I’m leaving the hotel, don’t make me lose money.” He warned.
  • I watched him leave the hotel and for some reason my heart dropped. Why?
  • I was already vibing to the song when I felt someone’s heated gaze on me. I subconsciously turned when I came in contact with the familiar man.
  • JOHNSON I watched Alex walk over to the pool side as I reasoned he has found another chick he was going to lay with this evening.
  • I trailed him with my eyes and saw that he was with the lady with the red hair. The one who’s gaze I felt in me earlier.
  • Alex had come in with her and it was obvious that she was a new employee.
  • I wonder what a beautiful lady would be doing here.
  • I watched Alex striked a conversation with her but it looked like he was telling the girl what to do.
  • Alex left the hotel and for some reason my eyes went back to the lady with the red hair. But when I was able to get a glimpse of her face my pupils shrank.
  • Evelyn.
  • I stayed still for some minutes as I was unsure if that was truly my Evelyn. I doubt if she was.
  • Evelyn’s hair was natural dark hair whilst this one here has red hair.
  • I could no longer keep calm as I carried my cup of red wine to the poolside as I sat down at the corner and watched her vibe to the song.
  • I bet she felt my presence as she turned to look at me. It was then I felt the sensation in me.
  • This woman here is my mate.
  • Evelyn.
