• All through that day at the hospital, Evelyn kept giving me an earful that I had to pretend not to be guilty of what she was scolding me about, denying the feelings for Ivan that had begun springing up in me.
• I kept wondering if he was okay now concerning the incident at hand with his student and knowing of his nature, and as a law student, he would go out of his way to help her get Justice, but I couldn't help but feel for him.
