Chapter 9 Strangers Say The Strangest Things

  • The morning breeze had been a thing of comfort to me, its cool message of guidance and love had been mind-soothing. That man, Gabriel had returned and once again my peace was gone.
  • “Hi.” The girl said. I was guessing this was his daughter, she had his hair and I could see a bit of him in her. Just a bit.
  • “Hi,” I responded. She looked flushed and quickly turned her eyes away in a shy manner. I smiled to myself knowingly. It was always the same with all of them the first time they saw me.
